When paying via Vipps, the entire payment process is handled within the Vipps app. The information you provide at checkout is transferred to Vipps, where the payment is authenticated and completed. Please do not send money to us directly, as Vipps payments cannot be manually processed by the shop. Vipps is an external payment provider, and we do not have insight into internal processing steps within the app.
To use Vipps, you must have the Vipps app installed on your smartphone, a Norwegian phone number linked to your Vipps profile, and a valid payment method such as a Norwegian bank account or a Visa/Mastercard. Your mobile number must be entered correctly during checkout so that the push notification can be delivered to your phone.
At checkout, after selecting Vipps as your payment method, you will be redirected to a Vipps-hosted page where you enter your mobile number. You will then receive a push notification on your phone prompting you to confirm the payment in the Vipps app. Once you have authorised the payment, the shop page will automatically reopen and display the standard order confirmation.
To ensure the payment runs smoothly, please make sure that your phone number, linked card, and bank account details are correctly set up in Vipps. Incorrect information may cause your payment to be declined.
